Good-Bye Peachtree Lane

Well, Mom decided to put the house on Peachtree Lane up for sale. Sad but I knew it was coming. On the spur of the moment I decided to fly back for one last visit. The end of June is a perfect time to visit and the weather couldn't have been better.

I am certainly going to miss the house that I grew up in and the greenery of Rochester but it was going to happen sooner or later.

Bob also came in from Boston for the weekend so that was nice. Todd had other commitments and it being such short notice wasn't able to join us. I think Mom and Alex have a lot of work to do to get the house ready to sell. Deciding what to keep and what to throw out isn't easy. It will be interesting to see how quickly the house does sell.
