Shannon, Kaitlyn, Preston and I went up to Causey Dam to do a little kayaking. We had intended to rent the kayaks from Weber State but lo and behold, they close from 11 - 3 pm on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. It surely couldn't have hurt them to tell me about this when I called on Monday and told them I would be in the next day! And to top it off, we got there at 11:08. Oh well, we ended up going to Canyon Sports instead. Fortunately, they had a couple in stock.
We had a really nice time, actually probably a better time than the seven people who had their cars broken into while they were out hiking or kayaking. When we got back to the parking lot, the police were there filing reports. We were pretty lucky that Preston's truck didn't get broken into, my camera and wallet were in the truck as was Shannon's purse. Apparently the thieves only broke into older cars not equipped with security alarms.
I didn't take any pictures of us on the water because I was afraid that my camera would get wet but here are some from the bank.
